Get a Diagnosis

An at-home sleep study confirms a diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and determines the severity of snoring.

How RANA helps

If you have a patient who snores and/or has a probability of OSA, and they wish to go forward with diagnosis, send RANA a referral.

Your patient will sleep in the comfort of their own bed while a monitor records their night’s sleep. The monitor measures breathing patterns, oxygen levels, heart rate, the amount they snore and what position they sleep in.

RANA will:

• Call your patient and book an appointment for an overnight at-home sleep study
• Book an appointment with our in-house physician (Respirologist) to review the results of the study, their diagnosis and recommended treatment plan
• Send you a copy of the Respirologist's consult
• Direct the patient back to your office if dental appliance therapy is recommended and you want to insert the mandibular advancement device (MAD)

Note: If you prefer, RANA will refer your patient to a dentist specializing in MAD therapy for the insertion and follow-up for this treatment. Your patient will still return to your practice for regular dental care.
