Continue NowThe Careica Health team is an attentive group of home oxygen professionals and experts who believe long-term care and support are critical to your health, quality of life and peace of mind.
We assign a single Careica home oxygen professional to each client. They will get to know and look out for your health needs, your equipment and you.
Whether you were just prescribed oxygen or would like to switch providers, your personal Careica Health Oxygen professional will visit your home for one to two hours to set up your home oxygen system.
Once complete, they will:
Make sure you can comfortably move around in your home.
Teach you and your family members about oxygen safety.
Show you and your family members how to care for your equipment and provide you with resource booklets.
Provide you and your family members with our 24-hour toll free number for assistance.
Supply you with a three- to six-month stock of oxygen tubing, nasal cannula and other necessary disposables.
Discuss portable oxygen needs.
A few days after the set-up, they will call to make sure you are doing well on your therapy and with your equipment, and to answer any questions you or your family may have.
Every three to six months, your assigned Careica Health Oxygen professional will schedule a one-hour follow-up visit. During the visit, they will:
Complete an in-home respiratory assessment, if required.
Service your home oxygen equipment.
Restock your supplies and oxygen cylinders, if required.
Ensure you are comfortable using your equipment.
Answer any questions you may have.
After the home visit, your home oxygen professional will update your doctor on your therapy and assessment results.
