BREATHING NEW LIFE INTO THE COMMUNITY

The culture of caring is deeply rooted within RANA. It extends far beyond the respiratory care offered to our clients. For years, RANA has been giving back to the community by routinely making donations to different not-for-profit organizations in the community. Today, we take this one step further with the launch of our new RANA Cares corporate giving program.

WHAT IS RANA CARES?

RANA Cares is a corporate giving initiative that is driven entirely by RANA employees. Its mission is twofold: to determine which not-for-profits are to receive corporate donations, and to celebrate and promote volunteerism across all RANA staff. Staff are encouraged to volunteer their time to not-for-profits in need, as well as nominate organizations to receive corporate donations. The program is guided by a committee of staff members who review all not-for-profit nominations received and determine how donations are to be distributed.

Volunteerism

The goal of the RANA Cares initiative is for all RANA staff to be active volunteers within the communities they live and work in. While participation is voluntary, all staff are encouraged to volunteer at least one hour per month to any organization(s) of their choosing (for a total of 540 volunteer hours organization-wide for the remaining fiscal year). Staff are also encouraged to volunteer together with their coworkers.

Corporate Donations

RANA has committed a minimum of $15,000 in corporate donations for the first year of the RANA Cares program. If staff meet our goal of 540 volunteer hours, RANA will donate an additional $5,000. All donation recipients will be nominated by RANA staff and selected by the RANA Cares staff committee.
