Who We Help
Our Community Respiratory Program is offered to adults and children of the Brandon and Assiniboine health regions who:
Have been diagnosed with:
- Asthma
- COPD (emphysema, chronic bronchitis)
- Pulmonary fibrosis
- Occupational lung disease
Require screening for:
- Cough
- Shortness of breath
- Mucus production
If you answer "yes" to any of the following questions, our program could help you!
- Do you cough or wheeze regularly, especially at night or upon exertion?
- Do you cough up phlegm?
- Does your chest feel tight, especially at night or upon exertion?
- Does your breathing interfere with simple chores or exercise?
- Do your colds last longer than other people's?
- Do you have to miss work or school because of your breathing?
