Dental Appliance Therapy

Meet the Dentist

A dentist educated in the evaluation and treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and snoring will meet with you to start your dental appliance therapy. The dentists who work with RANA have extensive experience in the use of several types of appliances for the treatment of these conditions.

Your First Appointment

At your first dental therapy appointment, the dentist will:

  • Review your history and OSA symptoms
  • Investigate health problems that could hinder dental appliance therapy
  • Determine if you have any allergies to the components used to create your dental appliance
  • Complete a dental exam to ensure you are a candidate for dental appliance therapy
  • Guide your selection of an appliance to best treat your OSA and snoring

After selecting a dental appliance, a follow-up appointment will be made to take the impressions needed to make your appliance.
