Home Oxygen Technician (Thompson, MB)

Part-Time 1-2 days per week / generally 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

 

We require a HOT who will provide direct care to home oxygen clients within Thompson, MB and surrounding First Nations Communities.

 

MAJOR DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Delivery of client services including oxygen system installation, removals, ongoing scheduled service, unscheduled service, client relocation, and mobility oxygen
    • Communicating with administrative staff and providing documentation
    • Shipping and receiving equipment by air and ground
    • Travelling to remote communities to provide service and ongoing support
    • Inventory management
    • Class 5 license
    • Able to maneuver up to 120 lbs. assisted
    • Current certification in TDG, CPR, and WHMIS (provided by RANA)
    • Health care experience an asset
    • Well organized, self-starter
    • Flexibility to work various days depending on work coming in
    • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Class 5 driver's license
  • Able to maneuver up to 120 lbs. assisted
  • Current certification in TDG, CPR, and WHMIS (provided by RANA)
  • Health care experience an asset
  • Well organized, self-starter
  • Flexibility to work various days depending on work coming in
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
